I’ve always found these “About Me” pages rather awkward.
I mean do you write them in first person and talk about yourself for 300 words or in third person and pretend you aren’t writing about yourself for 300 words while still having to write about yourself.
All far too much for me right now, as I take the leap into the blogging world so I have decided to let you know a little bit about me – in point form. Yes, I am describing myself with bullet points.
* I’m chronologically 21, but think I’m more suited in the 25-29 range.
* I am the CEO and founder of a web content, traffic generation and blog creation company.
* I’ve been working online in a number of different mediums for the past 3 years.
* I am one-half of a (surprisingly rare) highly functional, ridiculously happy and loving relationship.
* I have a serious addiction to travel which lead me to leave the sunny shores of Australia to live in Canada in 09 and now Mexico for 2010. Random, I know.
* I’m a super fast reader which works well because I love the activity intensely.
* I find people absolutely fascinating.
* On a similar note, I have a tendency to morph into a Dr Phil-esque character after a few wines.
* I may be one of the world’s biggest The Office fans. Give me 20 minutes and I will convert you.
* I’m an obsessive planner. I’ll organize you if you’re not careful.
* I read people well.
* I’m not particularly tidy, but I can’t handle a messy kitchen.
* I have an amazing knack of finding amazing travel deals, I think I was a travel agent in a previous life.
* Arrogance, ignorance and superiority-complexes will land you on my bad-at-life list.
* My boyfriend tells me I’m incredibly stubborn. Of course, I don’t agree.
* Successful female entrepreneurs everywhere are my inspiration.
Ok, so maybe its not your most traditional “about me” page but you definitely know at least a little bit about the real me now.
